Selective collection and green point

At the end of 2007 the selective door-to-door collection was launched in the municipalities that form the Mancomunitat del Pla de Mallorca.

This initiative aims to achieve the correct separation of the following groups of waste: organic material, packaging, paper and cardboard, rubbish and bulky waste.

At present Melchor Mascaró SA is the concessionary company of the collection of women door to door, of the green parks and of the street cleaning of markets, festivals and fairs in the Pla de Mallorca.

The objectives that we want to achieve through this section are the following:

    To promote environmental awareness and sensitization.

    To provide the necessary information on waste issues.
     

Incident management

The collection of waste sometimes generates incidents that are solved from the offices of the Mancomunitat del Pla de Mallorca (waste area).

We try to solve the incidents the same day and communicate the solution provided.
